- 01Start on clean paint. Remove loose grit first. A plush finishing cloth is not a substitute for washing.
- 02Remove the main residue. For wax or sealant, follow its cure and removal directions. GENTLEMAN 500 is a convenient first towel; GENTLEMAN+ can also do the job on its own.
- 03Make the last pass with GENTLEMAN+. Fold the clean 600 GSM cloth into quarters and buff gently, using minimal pressure.
- 04Change to a fresh side. Rotate or replace the cloth when residue builds up. Do not use on gritty paint or to level a freshly applied ceramic coating unless its instructions allow it.
- 05Care for the plush fibers. Pre-wash before the first use, launder separately with microfiber-safe detergent and never use fabric softener or bleach.

What does 600 GSM mean for GENTLEMAN+?
600 GSM means the cloth weighs 600 grams per square metre. GENTLEMAN+ is the higher-weight, double-sided plush option in the range. GSM alone does not establish fiber length, guaranteed scratch resistance or absorption performance.
When should I choose GENTLEMAN+ 600 GSM over GENTLEMAN 500 GSM?
Choose GENTLEMAN 500 GSM when you want a lighter, versatile cloth for routine wax removal and Quick Detailer wipe-downs. Choose GENTLEMAN+ 600 GSM when you prefer a fuller plush feel for the last buff, especially on clean, delicate paint. Both can perform many of the same jobs.
Can GENTLEMAN+ remove wax or polish residue by itself?
Yes, where the wax, sealant or polish directions allow a plush microfiber. It is not limited to the second pass. For stubborn residues or precise inspection, choose the cloth type and technique recommended by the product maker.
Can I use this towel with Quick Detailers and ceramic-coated paint?
Yes, for compatible Quick Detailer wipe-downs and normal maintenance on clean, fully cured coatings. Work lightly and follow the product or coating maker’s guidance. Do not assume a plush 600 GSM cloth is suitable for levelling every freshly applied coating.
Is a 600 GSM microfiber cloth lint-free or scratch-proof?
No cloth is guaranteed to be completely lint-free or scratch-proof. GENTLEMAN+ uses plush microfiber and laser-cut edges to support gentle finishing, but contamination, washing, pressure and technique affect the result. Pre-wash before first use.
How should I wash GENTLEMAN+ microfiber towels?
Wash separately from cotton and heavily contaminated cloths using a microfiber-safe detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Air-dry or use low heat only when the product care label permits it.
